Customised Jewelry Trends – TOP 5 Jewelry Pieces Of 2019
I love the quote from Oscar de la Renta, who says: “Fashion is about dressing according to what’s fashionable. Style is about being yourself”. And to be yourself you need Customised Jewelry. Read on to know more about customised jewelry trends of 2019.
In 2019, we made more than 500 Customised Jewelry pieces. It was particularly interesting because each piece of uniquely customized for each customer. And each customer had something new to add or something old to delete. The whole process made us learn different ways of how we could put various metal, stones and polish together to make something completely different, affordable & beautiful.
At the beginning of the year, I met with the whole team of sales reps, production managers and karigars and we did a bit of tiny survey amongst us. Here are only 5 (out of 500) pieces that we made it to our TOP 5 Jewelry Pieces list.
Bridal Jewellery
I was pleasantly surprised to see how people are coming around the fact that it is OK to wear “not real” jewellery at their own wedding and how confident they are with it. How they are OK with being themselves. They would rather make that money work for them instead of having it lazing around in the bank locker.
These are top two bridal sets we made. Each of them has a choker and a haram. With these they added the required accessories to give it the perfect bridal look.
Jhumka
We made many jhumkas this year. But only this was cut out for the list. It was actually developed last year with a help of a customer, but this still remains our favorite. We must have made 100 pieces of the same design, only because our customers love the fact that it can be worn more than 5 ways. You can interchange the stones, the dome (butta) can be removed/retached to give a different look and even the pearl can be added as per requirement. This pair of jhumka is true example of customized jewellery at its best.
Vadannam
Young brides are super in the truest sense. They are confident and they know exactly what look they want to go for and they get it. If it doesn’t fit their or their parents’ budget, they know how to get without making a fuss around it. Most of the soon-to-be-brides we connect with in 2019 knew exactly what they wanted and got it their way. This is particularly inspiring because of one particular customer, who pushed our limits so we could do our best in the most polite and courteous manner. In the process, we learned real customer service and we learned knew jewellery making techniques. Isn’t this just super? This is the vadanam we made for her.
Temple Jewellery – Last Yet The Best
I don’t think this Lakshmiji necklace requires any justification to be on the Jewelry Trends of 2019. It won all votes and reached our list the quickest without any explanations.
